Dersheng’s VulkoTough wheel is based on world renowned Covestro’s Desmodur Polyurethane technology. VulkoTough wheel has outstanding performance for dynamic load, which makes it the first choice for industrial wheels / rollers for heavy duty applications. In addition, it has excellent recovery from long periods of heavy loading, and great thermal stability even at high temperatures.
Superior tear resistance
VulkoTough features excellent tear-growth resistance. The material will not tear on and compromise function even when the tread is damaged.
Superior abrasion resistance
VulkoTough has an extremely high abrasion resistance to wear, ensuring a long service life. Operating under similar conditions, it’s up to ten times the service life of rubber-tire wheels.
Superior rebound resilience
VulkoTough has highest modulus of elasticity of all elastomer. It’s 2,5 times more resilient than solid elastic tyres.
Good resistance to chemical, hydrocarbon, oils, and solvents
VulkoTough offers good chemical resistance to mineral oils, greases and different solvents.
Superior dynamic load capacity
VulkoTough is characterized by outstanding mechanical load bearing properties and dynamic load capacity. It can carry up to three times the load capacities of comparable rubber wheels. And it is particularly suited for driving and moving loads of up to 10 tons and more.
Low permanent deformation
No or very little permanent deformation of the VulkoTough under heavy loading, even for longer periods.
Wet conditions capability
A special grade of VulkoTough , called VulkoTough -Wet, can perform well in wet and tropical conditions.
Low rolling resistance
VulkoTough features low rolling resistance, providing cushion ride to minimize noises and good floor protection.
Temperature
The working temperature is set between -40"C and +80‘C. And the performance will be reduced significantly at temp over 80"C.
